How Many Runners Are There?
The Freeport race is limited to roughly 1,000 runners! Those spots fill up fast once registration opens, so if you want to be part of the fun, register now before you miss out.

Course Description
The race starts at 9:00 a.m. on Depot Street and proceeds gently downhill on Bow Street. Be sure not to miss the Civil War cannon in historic Memorial Park on your left. After you wind down Bow Street for just under a mile, you’ll hook a right on Lower Mast Landing, which hugs the Harraseeket River and often includes majestic great blue heron and osprey sightings. Another mile later, you’ll make another right on South Street that will take you gradually uphill and around a couple more turns back to downtown Freeport. (You can see the complete course map)
Finish Line Party
The finish will be waiting for you on Depot Street at L.L.Bean’s flagship store, and the afterparty at Discovery Park (18 Morse St, Freeport, ME 04032). We’ll have pizza, bananas, drinks, and more waiting for you there.
For more information, you can check out our FAQ page.
